As the global impact of the COVID-19 virus spreads, Greenlots is putting the safety and health of our people and our customers first, along with the safe operations of our business. We continue to monitor the situation daily on a market-by-market basis and are following the advice of national health authorities and government entities. Given the constantly changing situation, we are in regular contact with our suppliers and key customers to ensure business continuity and operational excellence.
Circumstances like these can be disconcerting, but we will continue to follow the advice from top medical experts, partner consultancies, health agencies and our parent company Shell to ensure we are deploying best practices to manage the risk and prevent the spread of the virus. Our HSSE and HR leaders are working with Shell to ensure we have the appropriate business continuity protocols in place. Additionally, we are following the updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization and will continue to leverage this information to guide our business decisions.
“I am incredibly proud of how the Greenlots team has stepped up to ensure our customers continue to receive the exceptional service and support they expect from us, maintaining our business operations amid uncertainty and disruption to personal lives” said Andreas Lips, CEO of Greenlots. “I am especially grateful to our employees who have continued to maintain a high standard of customer service during this difficult time. We are determined to protect the health and safety of our entire team.“
Greenlots takes a broad approach to service continuity, including potential effects of an outbreak such as COVID-19. We have implemented a range of policies to support staff, customers, and partners as they seek to balance their professional and personal lives at this difficult time, in line with local regulatory and other requirements.
There have been no infections reported among Greenlots staff across US, Canada, Singapore and India.
We appreciate that this is a concerning and challenging time and encourage everyone to support one another – and to follow all guidelines provided by local government and health authorities in your area.
We will continue our focus on keeping people around the world safe and healthy. And we will provide regular updates on our actions to staff and customers as the situation develops.
