As the global impact of the COVID-19 virus continues, Greenlots is putting the safety and health of our people and our partners first, along with the safe operations of our business. We continue to monitor the situation on a market-by-market basis, and we are following the advice of national health authorities and government entities. Given the constantly changing situation, we are in regular contact with our suppliers and key customers to ensure business continuity and operational excellence.
Circumstances like these can be disconcerting, though we will continue to follow the advice from top medical experts, partner consultancies, and health agencies to ensure we are deploying best practices to manage the risk and prevent the spread of the virus. Additionally, we are following the updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization and will continue to leverage this information to guide our business decisions.
“I am incredibly proud of how the Greenlots team has stepped up to ensure our customers continue to receive the exceptional service and support they expect from us, maintaining our business operations amid uncertainty and disruption to personal lives,” said Andreas Lips, CEO of Greenlots. “I am especially grateful to our employees who have continued to maintain a high standard of customer service during this difficult time. We are determined to protect the health and safety of our entire team.“
Greenlots takes a broad approach to service continuity, including potential effects of an outbreak such as COVID-19. We have implemented a range of policies to support staff, customers, and partners as they seek to balance their professional and personal lives at this difficult time, in line with local regulatory and other requirements.
Many of our regions are now experiencing a surge in new cases of the virus. To protect our employees and partners, we continue to operate virtually for our office-based employees. As an essential business, our construction operations teams are fully operational and are adhering to strict HSSE protocol to prevent and mitigate exposure. There have been no infections reported due to workplace-based exposure across all of our regions, specifically the United States, Canada, Singapore and India.
We appreciate that this is a concerning and challenging time and encourage everyone to support one another – and to follow all guidelines provided by local government and health authorities in your respective areas.
We will continue our focus on keeping people around the world safe and healthy. And we will provide regular updates on our actions to staff and customers as the situation develops.”
